2012 Year of Dragon! Tips from the Taoism Master!

2012 Year of Dragon started! Happy New Year!

Gung Hey Faat Choi! Maan Si Sing Yee! 恭喜發財, 萬事勝意!

All of you are excited about the Chinese New Year today right?! Gung Hey Faat Choi! (Congratulation you are going to be rich!) Maan Si Sing Yee! (Everything will be better than you wish!) Greetings to people is a common practice for the CNY, you see people will see each other and jsut start to say tons of greeting phrases! Yes, Jan 23. 2012 is the Chinese New Year! Now let us give you some tips for this year of Dragon!

Year of Dragon, Special?

People may think the “Dragon” is special and so people all think this year is special. Actually it is not. The Chinese calender system is recorded by using 2 sets of words. One is the “Tin Gon 天干” heavenly stems and the second is “Dei-Jee 地支” earthling branches and they combo up to form 60 combos. The animal system is in the 12 earthling branches and so each animal will cycle back every 12 years. The dragon will cycle back every 12 years as well. The 10 heavenly stems also cycle and so the heavenly stem determines the “five elements” of the animal. This year is 壬辰 combo and so the word 壬 in the heavenly stem is with the “water” element and so that form the “water dragon”. It is not about any physical dragon or some holy creatures. It’s just the calender system and how it works. Why dragon for the earthling branches though?

辰 (sun) is the earthling branches for this year. The 12 earthling branches is actually 12 words that discribe how the cycle of life runs and it is more related to how the agricultural and farming stuff works. This specific earthling branch of 辰 (sun) means to “extend” and to grow tall, to grow out. That is why the animal dragon is used just like how a dragon extend it’s body and fly up the sky. It’s a metaphor!

Read about the details of the Heavenly Stems and the Earthling Branches in our lecture!

The Water Dragon Luck Flow for Business

Since you know now that the combo of the year is 壬辰 (Yum Sun), we will go explain the combo in details. The heavnly steam of 壬 (yum) means pregnancy, or prepare to be born, with vital energy stored and concealed but growing inside a shell or a mother’s stomach. It is subtle, but growing, and life is already started but not shown. The word 辰 (sun) as we explained is to extend, to grow and to level-up. So this year energy flow is more like a good year for business to plan for future plans, to get ready and prepare for new marketing and promotion campaign, to do prep work and so on.

If you are planning on doing investment, this is not a good year and many investments may fail and so being conservative and even to withdraw from stocks is a good plan as well. This year investments or stocks will go down and economy will be not too good. Beware and not get tricked to invest. Better be conservative on these things.

Business starter should not be taking big actions or moving into a store this year to be safe. You could do a lot of prep work but don’t expect to earn big bucks. This is a year that is good for forming a good foundation, preparing for the big earning coming up in the future.

This year is also a good year to clean up your office’s energy. We suggest you use the “Negative Dissolve Spray FU” for the office more often.

Chi Gung 氣功 (Qi Gong) – All Explained by the PRO

Chi Gung 氣功 (Qi Gong) is a mandarin word, which in Cantonese we call it “Hey Gung”. This is always commonly misunderstood as “dragonball style fantasy stuff” in the west. Even though many people do heard of it, the real deal is seldom known and exposed to the public. Many good masters kept all the truth to themselves and hide from the public because it is not easy to explain the system to a newbie who have no knowledge on what this is all about. No worry, today you got me here, Mak Jo Si, to explain all this to you and how it was formed from scratch.

CHI GUNG HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Let’s not dig into all those dates and time, but here is the brief history of Chi Gung. Starting from about 7742 BC, a wise king named Fuk-Hey 伏義 in ancient China found the wisdom of yin yang and taichi. he is the creator of the Tai Chi logo, the “river diagram” and so on. If you want to dig into what these are all about, sure, HERE is all my 11 page lessons on the details. After he invented the 9 special tools for medics and started the theory of Chinese medic, they found that everything have “chi” (energy) and so with the theory of yin and yang, taichi, and so on, we came up with not only the medical system but also a system to improve health or prevent sickness. The ancient Chinese then learn that everything have “chi” and nature does have it’s own seasonal chi flow. If your chi inside the body is not flowing the same way as the nature is flowing, your chi becomes “evil” which means conflict, and you get sick or not feel well. When your chi is sync again with nature, you get well again. Chi is also like a kind of immune system, it can prevent sickness and it can cure sickness as well. That is how chi gung was started. It’s all about health.

Types of Chi Gung

Chi gung can basically be categorized as two types. Just like Yin and Yang. One is HARD CHI GUNG and one is SOFT CHI GUNG. the HARD chi gung is the chi gung used in martial arts, to power up the body for two reasons – one is to increase attack power, and second is to condition the body to take powerful strikes and not get hurt.

There is the SOFT CHI GUNG which is more commonly practiced and known, this is closer to the chi gung in the ancient time as well. The soft chi gung are done for health reason!

SOFT CHI GUNG

Soft chi gung have 2 types too! One is the EXTERNAL soft chi gung and one is the INTERNAL soft chi gung. The external soft chi gung is like doing taichi the martial arts form, you do movements to make chi flow and work inside the body and through exercise you will improve chi flow and health as well.

The INTERNAL chi gung is more complex. there are two types of internal chi gung as well. One is called the static chi gung and one is the dynamic chi gung. Both chi gung are for health reason as well. there is also a new type which is “massage” therapy.

SOFT CHI GUNG – INTERNAL CHI GUNG

Dynamic Chi Gung- Moving chi gung such as doing some individual movements to cultivate chi and move chi around the body, in the past there are a few famous one like the “five animal form” by the famous Chinese doctor “Wah Toh” 華陀. etc,. this path is easy to start but not easy when it gets to a deep level.

Static Chi Gung- meditation type chi gung, still chi gung or even stance chi gung. this path require more time and concentration plus focus a lot on breathing works

Massage Chi Gung -to use pressure points or the hands and work with chi. This can be done by yourself or by someone for you.

CROOKED PATHS! – BEWARE!

There is nothing such as “spontaneous chi gung”. This is totally something newly made up in the 80′s by evil people who went off shoot in chi gung study and go all wrong. this path is totally dangerous, and it can totally lead you to many problems such as health, life and even luck and family as well. Some people can even get possessed by ghosts or evil spirits during these practice because it is done wrong and it’s very very very dangerous. Never fall for these new age paths. They are not worth it.

How to start Chi Gung?

Chi Gung starts from theory and from theory to practice. Theory is important because chi gung is closely related to the Chinese medic system. What’s the basic of chi gung is not the breathing or the movements, but to understand the human body, how it works, why chi flows, and how chi flows, the calculation behind etc,. Doing the same exercise facing different directions can make a big difference if you know how to do the trick. It’s not always good to face one direction too. Why? There is all the math behind. This is all related to astronomy study. If you wonder what they are, sure, start HERE by our lessons with all these cool knowledge.

What is CHI?

There are TWO types of chi (energy). One is the PRE-heaven chi and one is the POST-heaven chi.

The PRE-heaven chi is the energy you get from the mother when you are in the mother’s stomach. This type of chi was given to you to start your engine and start a life.

The POST-heaven chi is the energy you get from breathing in air, from eating and drinking, etc,. nutrition and oxygen, and more…. this can be consumed by us later on.

PRE-HEAVEN CHI

There are 2 types of PRE-HEAVEN CHI 先天之氣, One is called the 精氣 (Jing Chi) which is also called the 元精 (Yuen Jing). this is the vital energy you were given when you are born and it is what gave you the motivation to move and do things as well.

The other type is 元氣 (Yuen Chi), which is what the mother gave you in the stomach and this is the initial engine starting energy that helps you to survive and consume the post-heaven chi later on as well. Without this, you cannot digest post-heaven chi and turn them into useful energy.

These two types of PRE-heaven chi are the basic energy that you need to produce the “heat” and energy that your body need.

POST-HEAVEN CHI

There are 2 types of POST-HEAVEN CHI 後天之氣, one is called the 元氣 (yuen chi). This is energy that you get from breathing in air

The other type of post heaven chi is 地氣 (Dei Chi), this is the energy you get from eating and drinking, consuming food and liquid.

These two types of POST-heaven chi are the energy that you need to be active, motivated and so on..

THE REAL CHI 真氣

If you combine all the above, the pre and post heaven chi together, you get what we called “Juan Chi” 真氣, the real energy. This is the energy that keep you alive and active which is a combination and mixture of all the pre and post energy above. Now this is the real deal. Without pre or post heaven energy, you will be dead. So everybody does have both, just the matter of how much and how many you are producing everyday.

The Concept of Chi Gung

The concept of Chi Gung is to cleanse your body’s chi by releasing dirty, polluted and unwanted chi out of the body and intake or consume good chi to improve your health. By doing so, you can now enjoy a better life, be more motivated, and also experience what we call internal power! Taoism do chi gung as well. Just that our chi gung are more than what the Chi Gung are about. Feel free to stay tune for our future lectures! Hope this 101 get you a good idea of what Chi Gung and Chi are! Want to learn chi gung?

Five Elements – History 001

In the ancient China, before even the word “China” was formed, the people already started their investigation on “Chinese science” to find out more and more patterns of nature. Astronomy is one big field that the Chinese dig into. This logo below, is the Tai Chi Logo which we already explained here, talking about the meaning and what it is all about.

But then, it is not enough. The Chinese need more knowledge to explain about nature and how the pattern works. Therefore, they observed the planets and stars at night, which allow them to found the 5 major planet that orbits around the sun as well and they also found the big dipper and of course the 28 constellations. Wait, are we talking about 5 elements here? Yes, we are not going off track, I am going to bring you back in time to find out the five elements together with me here! Tag along!

The 28 Constellations

The above diagram is the Chinese version of the 28-constellations. In Chinese we call it Yi Sup Baat Suk 二十八宿 which means 28-constellations. What are these constellations? They are groups of stars that are around the ring that planet earth orbits on surrounding the sun. The ancient Chinese recorded these constellations and named them by their “shape” which looks like a dragon, a phoenix, a tiger and a turtle. That is an abstract way to describe it, but of course these aren’t just for shows, they are named that way due to a deep long formula as well.

This basic knowledge of the constellation gave birth to the 5 elements. During this ancient period, people found that there is a pattern with these constellations and the 5 major planet of Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mars and Mercury. In Chinese, these 5 planets are called:

金星 Gum Sing / Gold Star – Venus

木星 Mook Sing / Wood Star – Jupiter

水星 Sui Sing / Water Star – Mercury

火星 Foh Sing / Fire Star – Mars

土星 Toe Sing / Earth Star – Saturn

Do you see why there is the five elements? Gold, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth? Now let’s take a look at this amazing diagram below which is called the “Hoh Toe” 河圖, meaning the river-diagram. This diagram shows us the theory with the 5 planets.. let me explain! According to the directions given with the bottom being “north”. left is the “east”, top is the “south” and right is “west”. Now let’s take a look.

The ancient Chinese discovered when does the 5 major planets appear. Here is what they found out, according to the lunar calendar: during the month of November and June (11 and 6) the water-star (水星) which is Mercury will appear in the north around sunset. (see 1 and 6 at the bottom?)

During the month of lunar March and August (3 and 8) the wood-star (木星) which is Jupiter, will appear in the east during the early evening. (see the 3 and 8 on the left?)

During the month of lunar February and July, (2 and 7) the fire-star (火星) which is Mars, will appear in the south during the early evening. (see the 2 and 7 on the top row?)

During the month of lunar May and October, (5 and 10) the earth-star (土星) which is Saturn, will appear in the middle of the sky during the early evening. (see the 2 rows of 5 in black that connects to 10 and the cross of 5 in the center?)

During the month of lunar April and September, (4 and 9), the gold-star (金星) which is Venus, will appear in the west during the early evening. (see the 4 and 9 on the right side?)

Now as you can see where the 5 elements comes from! Who started it all? 伏義 Fuk Hey! He is a wise man in the early ancient China who was well known for the best leader or king. He is one of the 3 major King in the pre-China era which is way back in time when China was not even in it’s first dynasty yet. This wise man invented a lot of things which brought the whole ancient China to another realm. He is also the founder of bagwa, yin yang, and many other cool inventions! During a day when Fuk Hey was thinking and doing his brain works, he saw a very special creature which he called it the “Dragon Horse” appeared in the yellow river and he just saw a very cool pattern on the horse’s back! He quickly recorded it down and somehow this diagram is just 99% like the one above that described the 5 major planets and their relationships with the month! From then on, he finalized the diagram and called it the “River Diagram” Hoh-Toe 河圖.

The cycle of the Hoh-Toe 河圖 and 5 elements relate to the seasons and months as well. This is going to be very fun but let’s take a break and come back for another lesson later!

The Tai Chi Symbol – Professionally Total Explain

This is the correct Tai Chi symbol. It is not about religions, it is not about belief, it is not about superstitious practice at all. This is purely about the ancient Chinese astronomy and the ancient science of the wise Chinese. Now you might not know why and how this symbol above is “correct” but after reading this article you will be more than professionals than those professionals! Many people turn this logo or symbol into a belief and so they “think” such and such is right because it feels right. It is not, and it cannot. There is a whole theory behind that explinas why the symbol or logo is drawn like this one above! Let’s start together!

What? Did I post the wrong photo here? No. this is not a mistake. I am going to start by talking about “RICE”! Everything starts by baby step and so of course to understand how nature works and cycle, the ancient Chinese invented a measuring system first! Wong-Dee, the Yellow Emperor (who was one of the king before China was even found) had assigned his wise man to accomplish this task of finding a way to invent a measuring system. What this guy “Ling Lun 伶倫” did was he found that a special kind of rice that they harvest every year is very cool, the size doesn’t change much and all the grains are about the same size! So by then, he invented the “rice measuring system”. This kind of rice is called the “Sue Mai” 黍米 which is a special kind of rice that we use to make those Chinese New Year rice cakes nowadays. This rice is similar to the Japanese rice, it’s not a “long” grain.

First, Ling Lun started by counting one unit of a grain of rice by it’s length is “1 fun” 一分 and he tried to put 9 rice in a line horizontally and somehow it matched the length of 10 grains placed vertically alsigned to each others. So he started to count 9 grains of rice in a row horizontally is “one inch” 一寸 and so now the system is 9 fun = 1 inch and so 9 inch = 81 grains of rice! This rice is also then used to invent the system of measuring the weight and volume as well! So of course, the wooden ruler was formed with the use of rice as the way to count the measures. With the help of this ruler, now they can make something new to count our days and nights.

The Chinese do not know how to survive in the crazy world, sometimes it gets dark and sometimes water poured from the sky, and sometimes you see thunder and lightening.. it’s crazy and some people just try to pray to the sky like how a caveman will do to beg for forgiveness… too bad, this doesn’t work and so some wise man in ancient China started to investigate into this path of Chinese science. First they observe the sky and realized there are planets in the sky that rotates and cycle around as well. The Chiense found that the ground plane have four directions like a chess board, and the sky is like a dome shape that covers down. So they started the math and now they invented a tool to count their days and years. This tool is called the “Gwai Biu” 圭表.

The method of the “Gwai biu” is to build a vertical pole that sticks up which measures in the ancient 9 inch or the multiple of 9 inch… and this tool compose of 2 parts. The Gwai 圭 is the horizontal part which is a guide with measurement. The Biu 表 is the part that sticks up and allow the sun to make a shadow and project the shadow down the “gwai” that lays horizontal. Of course, setting up the gwai-biu also requre them to check the directions as well to be accurate.

The ancient Chinese observe the sky and notice that there are many stars and constellations. So these stars, plaents and constellations became what they use to learn how the universe works and functions. They found a lot of patterns and so they first came up with the theory of the four seasons. Spring, Summer, Autum and Winter. This is easy right? Yes and they now use the “Gwai Biu” to set the 2 very specail date. One is what they call “Winter Comes” and one is “Summer Comes” and that is the start of winter and the start of summer. The interesting thing is that the “Gwai Biu” shows the winter comes will show the longest shadow of the year, and the summer comes will show the shortest shadow of the year. This allowed the ancient Chinese to set the two most important days.

Now they also realized how the planet orbits aorund the sun as well and so they also came up with a diagram like the following!

As you can see, this is what today’s science use as well. it is showing how the planet earth orbits aorund the sun. This is hard to explain in brief but you can see in summer comes (left) and winter comes (right), they both share “half half” of the dark and brightness as well.

So this nice video tells you all about the whole idea. During the winter comes and summer comes, the earth both share half half of the sun. Now it makes total sense for us to see THIS dirgram below which illustrate the whole concept to you:

The Chinese word above saying 冬至 (bottom) means winter comes, and the upper 夏至 (top) means summer comes. This shows how both period share the sun half-half. Yes, it is now much better to see why we have this “yin yang” symbol here. This is the Yin Yang symbol, with left yang (white) and the right yin (dark). Okay, so as you can see this is the first stage of the diagram. What about spring and autom? The Chinese now divide it in half again like a cake:

The top and bottom is the same, we just cu tthe pie in half again and now we have 春分 which is the “spring commences” and the 秋分 which is the “autum commences”. Now you can see four seasons were set. Which illustrates how the earth orbits around the sun! This is a very clear diagram that shows the four season cycle in a year!

Now the day is bright and we call it 陽 Yang. The night is dark and we call it 陰 Yin. So the chinese know splitting things in half is not enough to describe this picture and so they invented the four terms 少陰 Siu Yin and 太陰 Tai Yin which is little darkness and very dark. Then opposit of that is 少陽 Siu Yang and 太陽 Tai Yang, which is very bright and little bright. It now very clearly shown in the same diagram with the four seasons:

From autum commences to winter comes, the sun during daytime keeps getting shorter and shorter and more and more darkness… so this is the Tai Yin 太陰 section.

After winter comes is reached, the sunlight start to get longer and longer from then on to spring commences! So this is Siu Yang 少陽 section.

From spring commences to summer comes, it is getting very bright and daylight is getting longer, so we have Tai Yang 太陽 section there.

Then after summer comes started, from this period to autum commences, the sunlight during the day keeps on getting shorter bit by bit, so it is 少陰 Siu Yin section.

This is a graph from the “Gwai Biu” 圭表 that recorded the data of the “length of the shadow” of that vertical pole through out the year. So this reverse S line is now put into the diagram with the four seasons as the “line of life” just to show the sun moves and creates the pattern…

After a long journey, you finally see what made the Tai Chi Logo. Here is the logo that tells you how it looks at the end. Why are there two small dots? Well because during the period of Tai Yang 太陽, there is one little bit of “Yin” that starts to grow. On the other side, during the winter comes, a little bit of yang start to grow slowly as well! So there are small dot of yin in the tai yang and a small dot of yang in the tai yin section, which illustrates how the cycle of a year works. The reverse S line shows the shadow pattern from the graph from the “Gwai Biu” and so this symbol now completes. The little “angle” from the S is the angle from ecliptic and the equator measurements as well, which was done by using the gwai-biu in the past. That is another very complex thing and so we will leaev it aside for now.

This is how the Tai Chi logo was formed. It is a cycle of life, a cycle of a year and the pattern of how earth orbits around the sun. It’s not a religious symbol here, it’s the ancient astronomy diagram! Now you know when you see people drawing a tai chi logo with an S line, it is already wrong. You need to have a reverse S line and the two ” fishy” must go clockwise, plus the black must be in the bottom and the white at the top.

The Korean flag is a total screwed up which lead to it’s many years of suffer from the North Korea and South Korean politics problem. That is another long story and we may discuss it later on. It’s all very obvious and explainable with these ancient wisdom, just that not much people who are willing to speak out for the Koreans doesn’t means they are right. Too bad, copy cat stole something and made their own piece of art. All I can say is their kimchi taste good but their ancient Chinese wisdom sucks. Stay tune for our future post!

==Fun stuff==

The 24 solar terms is a gross name of the system that comprises of 12 major solar terms and 12 minor solar terms interlaced with each other. Starting from “vernal equinox”, the 12 major solar terms are “vernal equinox”, “corn rain”, “corn forms”, “summer solstice”, “great heat”, “end of heat”, “autumnal equinox”, “frost”, “light snow”, “winter solstice”, “severe cold” and “spring showers”. Each major solar term falls on one of the 12 lunar months designated by the 12 earthly branches (Figure 1). The minor solar term after “vernal equinox” is “bright and clear”, and then in turn “summer commences”, “corn on ear”, “moderate heat”, “autumn commences”, “white dew”, “cold dew”, “winter commences”, “heavy snow”, “moderate cold”, “spring commences” and “insects waken”.

Do you see how this fits into the above theory with the Tai Chi Logo? cool stuff!

2012 Fan Tai Sui 犯太歲 - Total explain of what it is, are you affected, how to deal with --- tai sui, or tai shui, is a very important thing that all must pay attention to when Chinese New Year comes. In 2012, it is Jan 23, so read this article to learn bout why Fan Tai Sui is so important!

2012 Fan Tai Sui 犯太歲 – Total explain

What is Tai Sui and Fan Tai Sui?

Tai Sui 太歲, is actually how the ancient Chinese astronomy name the planet of Jupiter. The word Tai 太 means very big, biggest, or grand, and the word Sui 歲 means age. The ancient Chinese observe the pattern of how the planet of jupiter orbits and cycle around planet earth in 365.5 days to record their calendar of a year. Therefore, this planet is called the Tai Sui, because it cycle onces around our planet and a year pass by. Now what is “fan tai sui”?

Around the planet of Jupiter, there are 60 little moons. (Science proven) There are 4 biggest moons that orbits around the planet of jupiter that do not orbits with the same direction of Jupiter. Therefore the counter force created frictions in energy over time and creates a beam of harmful radiation like energy that beams through the sun and through earth as well. Every year, there are then 4 different beams of these harmful energy that will affect everything on earth including human beings. The energy is not as harmful as those like nuclear bombs but then it is a very subtle energy beam that will get your life bumpy, stuck, and a lot of things just don’t go right, creating conflicts, arguments and lots of frustrations that make your year hard to walk.

How do I know if I am affected? and how much?

A very easy way to see if you are affected by the Tai Sui harmful energy beam is to check by using your birth year’s corresponding zodiac animal. We usaully put out a chart that made it easy for all to read and realize if your birth year is “fan tai sui 犯太歲” (affected by the tai sui energy) or not. But then, this is not enough.

The professional way of finding out if you are really affected by the Tai Sui, is to use your full birth year, month, date, and time. By converting that into lunar calendar, you can get what we call the 8-words.

Chinese use a system called the “Tin Gon” (Heavenly Stems) 天干 and “Dei Jee” (Earthling Branches) 地支 to record their calendar. There are 10 “Tin Gon” and 12 “Dei Jee”. All the year, month, day and time can be recorded using a combination of one TIN GON and one DEI JEE. The Tin Gon and Dei Jee cycle and form a total of 60 combinations, then it cycle back to stage one and cycle again.

In the Tai Sui system, every year we can calculate what is affected by the “tai sui” harmful energy by looking at the “DEi JEE”. If your birth YY/MM/DD/TT have these “Dei Jee” 地支 in them, you are affected as ewll. You can be not affected by the year but if your month, day and time are all affected, then you are in a bigger trouble than those who are just affected by the year!

Therefore, it is very important that you know how to convert your birth YY/MM/DD/TT into lunar calendar AND find out the Tin Gon and Dei Jee combination of them as well. For example:

Western Calendar date of birth : March, 29, 1936 @ 3:45am
Lunar Calendar converts to: March 7. year of rat
In our professional way, we go the 8 words combination (YY/MM/DD/TT) 丙子, 壬辰, 庚戌, 戊寅

In the year of 2012, the “dei jee” of 辰, 卯, 丑, 戌 are affected. So now you can try to find if these 4 words appear in the 8 words above. As you can see, it appeared in the 2nd combo 壬辰, and the 3rd 庚戌, and so there are TWO out of four combo that was affected and that ist he month and the day combo.

Okay, so this person above will not even know he is affected by the Tai Sui porblem if he just check it up on the chart according to his year of birth or the animal, but then he is affected 2/4 combo of his whole DoB. That is very serious already!

It is important to check your whole birth YY/MM/DD/TT to know if you really are affected or not. Please feel free to E-MAIL Mak Jo Si to have your date of birth and time of birth checked for FREE! (please give your name, birth year, month, day and time)

What do I do if I am affected? what should I do?

The above shows the YEAR of the “Fan Tai Sui” victim, but then you will also want to check if your month, day or time is also Fan Tai Shui. Please E-MAIL Mak Jo Si to check it up for you for FREE. (give birth YY/MM/DD/TT).

If you are affected by the Tai Sui problem, it is easy to resolve with Taoism magic. Please go to :

http://www.chiinnature.com/FUS_2011fts.html

and just get the Taoism FU that you need and use it to dissovle these negative energies and then it will be smoothen out!

Common Mistake or False and Misleading Information

Fan Tai Sui is suppose to be a very scientific astronomical study in the ancient China. This is purely talking about how the planets around earth will affect human being! Many frauds and fake information flooded the market because people try to make money off people in the Chinese New Year and these false cultural practice or “traditions” were passed down such as “worshipping a Tai Sui Deity” or even to setup a Tai Sui altar at home or to worship in the Tai Sui temple and stuff money under the deity statue, burning offerings to the Tai Sui deity etc,. These are all wrong and false information of the Tai Sui. There are no Tai Sui Deity and those who say there are 60 deities or generals who each govern a year of the Tai Sui is purely a fake and false practice or belief which originated from a fictional story in the pass called Fung Sun Bong 封神榜 from the Ming Dynasty. This is totally fake and not true. There are no generals or deities that govern the Tai Sui. It’s purely about energy and planets. Please do not fall for these wrong paths. Even our Taoism FU are to help you dissolve the negative energy and shield you from the harmful energy only. That is the only way to solve the Tai Sui problem.

Please see a video (15mins approx) on the TAi Sui TOTAL EXPLAIN!

Cold Steel Latin Machete KUNG FU form! (teaching and application w/ video)

In Tin Yat Lineage, we got a kungfu form that we put together to use the Cold Steel Latin Machete 18-inch as the weapon! Please enjoy our machete form and learn it if you wish as well. We already included the application explain part and the form demonstration part. This form is consider easy. It is just repeating a series of movements to all four directions. This form is also named “Tin Yat Four Direction Machete Form” because it strikes in four directions! Another tips here is that you can put on the sheath to do the form to prevent accidental cuts and bleeding as well. Until you are comfortable with the sharp blade, becareful of your own hands because the blade is really sharp. The machete I use is extremely sharp, sharpen to a convex edge. Please first take a look at the sharpness test after my sharpening first…

SHARPNESS TEST

Now that you saw how sharp it is, you must know that you are not aiming for “speed” in the practice, just do the movement as an exercise and always becareful of the sharp edge. This is not a toy.

FORM

APPLICATION

Enjoy and happy new year 2012!!! Good luck to all!

The Horse Stance Training – Kungfu – 四平馬

This is the basic kungfu horse stance, done correctly, called the “Sei Ping Ma”, 四平馬, meaning the four “flat” stance. What is flat? Well you see the thigh and the legs form a rectangle like structure there, and your thigh is flat, black is flat, arms are flat, the toes are pointing a 1-1 way which is also flat. Everything is perfectly structured and that is the basic of this horse stance. It is very hard to do for a beginner but here we will guide you through and see if you can follow this video everyday for 10 seconds of the horse stance.
